Events
Michigan Christian Fellowship holds various events throughout the course of the year. These events can be broken down into the following categories:
Summer Retreat
EVENT UPDATE: The 2007 Summer Retreat will be held in Miracle Camp, Lawton, Michigan from August 9 through 12. Stan Thomas from New York will be speaking.
Every year we hold a retreat in the summer, usually in the month of August. The Retreat is targeted at persons above the age of 16 (high school and above). Our four day Retreat begins on Thursday night and continues until Sunday afternoon. Usually the guest speaker has had a strong ministry among the youth. Worship is led by the MCF Worship Team. These retreats have been a blessing to all those who have attended, as God’s presence was there.
Weekly Meetings
Every Sunday we hold prayer meetings in the evening for all who wish to attend. These prayers usually take place at a person’s home. It is here we come together in unity to pray about any needs or burdens we have and to thank God for all that He has done.
Every third Sunday of the month we will hold our Sunday evening meeting at ICC Pontiac. Instead of a prayer meeting, we will have incorporated a set time for praise and worship and to hear from the Word of God.
Outreach Works
Michigan Christian Fellowship’s view on outreach is to reach as many people who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. We accomplish this through serving other ministries and/or going out into the world and ministering to other people anyway possible. Our vision is to be vessels that God can use to save the lost, be transparent so people can see the love of God, and be broken so that God can use us the way He sees fit.
